Stop the balloons from escaping!
In the fourth in the series of monkey tower games the aim remains very much the same, to stop the balloons from escaping the track fully intact. You have a certain amount of lives to give away, one hundred in all, but use them wisely as some of the later rounds will see your track ram packed with balloons that could wipe out your lives within seconds.
There are plenty of new upgrades from monkey tower defence 3 and the graphics have been even more polished. Some upgrades and tracks are only available through purchasing mochi coins, but these are rather cheap, so if you enjoy the game that much, i'd advise you give some of the premium upgrades and tracks a shot.
The key to completing the monkey tower defence 4 edition is knowing which towers to buy and which to avoid. This in itself is a mind boggling question. Some towers you will be able to utilise on many levels where as others are pretty much useless on nearly all levels! A general tip is to conserve as much money as possible in levels where you can 'almost' cope with the oncoming rush of balloons. This strategy will help you avoid spending money on 'bit part' towers that have little impact overall in the game. Instead for the levels where only a few balloons may escape, use some tacks on the track or an exploding pineapple to see you through the level.
The super monkey is an essential tower in the monkey tower defense 4 game. Without the super monkey and its upgrades of greater radius and plasma beams you will be overwhelmed in the later levels and simply won't survive. There will be a period where you need to forgo many small tower deployments in order to save enough up for the super monkey tower. This brings me back to the point of spending money wisely, don't forget for the levels where you are attempting to bridge the gap between lack of money for a super monkey and preventing too many balloons from escaping your clutches, use the pineapple bomb, it's a godsend!
