Monkey Tower Defense 3 is a certain blessing for gamers. It deserves all the credit for the improved graphics, weapon variety, great tracks and surprise elements. It?s inevitable that great efforts were harvested towards the design and other lacking aspects seen in the earlier versions of the game.
The premise of the game is to lay the towers on the map to block the balloons from crossing the map. Over here, the balloons are the invaders which emerge from absolutely nowhere. You should pop the balloons by strengthening your defenses before they pass you. You can use your items and monkeys to help you in this mission.
Overall, there are 8 different maps in the game classified in accordance to the level of difficulty, (easy, medium and hard). To gain an upper edge in the game, you need to upgrade your defenses by adding new towers. Personally, I would suggest an upgrade only when the existing defenses fail to support you because the advanced towers and upgrades are pretty expensive.
When it comes to permanent towers in Monkey Tower Defence 3, I believe dart monkeys and tack shooters are the best bet as they will turn out to be extremely cost effective and a powerful tool in due course of the game.
As such, you earn money each time you pop a balloon. Managing money is one of the biggest challenges you will encounter in this game. I would recommend purchasing items like road spikes and pineapple bombs in limited quantities. Another tip over here is to ensure that you sell out all the badly placed towers and go for stronger defenses when you can afford them.
Also, avoid entering into any kind of purchase deal at the start of the round because you will receive extra money at the end of each level depending upon the number of balloons popped by you in a particular round.
Gaining money is relatively easy in the initial levels as the balloons move slowly in these levels. I usually place my towers in locations from where I am able to fire on two or more sections.
The strength of each balloon in Monkey Tower Defence 3 is determined by its color. Red balloons are the weakest, while brown balloons require several shots. With every passing level, the balloons will get meaner, faster, stronger and ample. Make sure that you have a solid defense at the entry and exit track to reduce the passing balloons. Strong defense is the key to prevent these balloons from freely racing past you.
